In the MobileNoter for Android 2.0 it is possible to view and edit notebooks loaded from OneNote on your device. Like in the iOS version of MobileNoter, there are two ways to load them: through the MobileNoter server or through the Wi-Fi network. You may configure your way of loading notes in the application settings. To set up the application use the button with gears at the top of the screen.
If you want to use the Cloud type of synchronization, you need to enter your username and password, which you need to register at the MobileNoter website.
To use the Wi-Fi type of synchronization, you need to enter IP address or name of the PC you want to sync with. After this you need to tap on the "Send the pairing request button" (to show this option please use the hardware menu button). Then you will be provided with a PIN-code which you need to enter on your PC.
There are 4 icons on the application Home screen: Notebooks, Tags, Recent Pages and Search.
If you tap on the Notebooks icon you will view contents of one of your notebooks. If you want to switch to another notebook, you need to drag the menu from the right top corner of the screen and select the desired notebook.
Navigation structure in notebooks is the same as in OneNote: notebooks include sections which include pages. While viewing a page you can use gestures to scroll it and zoom in and out (or use the on-screen buttons with + and -).
You can always use the hardware "Back" button on your device to return to the previous screen.
The "MobileNoter" button will return you to the Home screen (hardware "Home" button can be also used for this).
Taping on the Tags icon will open the tag summary, where you can view all tags used in your notes.
Search function allows you to search through your notes and search keywords will be highlighted on found pages.
The Recent Pages icon is used to view the list of pages you've viewed last time.
